SLI-Consulting adds world’s first 750 GB enterprise hard drive, Seagate Galaxy Series, to its StorageNetwork range
Sydney, 25 September 2006- SLI-Consulting Pty Limited today announced that it has added Seagate Technology LCC NL35 enterprise hard drive to its Fibre Channel and SATA range of StorageNetwork subsystems. The incorporation of the 250, 500 and 750 GB Seagate Galaxy NL hard drives further extends the SLI-Consulting range of data storage solutions for its customer base in Data Centre, Post Production, Earth Resources, Medical Imaging and military industries throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific.
Incorporating the Galaxy NL35 Series into SLI-Consulting’s StorageNetwork range of high performance storage devices will provide a range of benefits for enterprise customers. Seagate's newest 7,200 rpm hard drive satisfies the requirements of:
- D2D (disc-to-disc) backup/recovery storage
- Virtual tape backup/recovery storage
- Fixed-content storage for image and document management
- Lower-tiered storage of regulatory compliance or other reference data
- Video archiving for security/surveillance and video distribution
The disk drive is built on a proven drive design with demonstrated enterprise class reliability and product quality.
